We are all closely following the current divorce battle between Top UK Glamour model Jordan (Katie Price) and heartthrob Peter Andre’ in the print press, Radio and trash TV.
But we can’t help that one thing immediately springs to mind. Is this whole issue real or could it be a cleverly initiated Media spin which had been thought up by some clever press and media manger behind the scene? Think about it. The ‘dream couple’ already sold the picture rights to their over the top wedding for a six figure sum to the highest bidding boulevard magazine and agreed to have their domestic differences shown in detail on national TV before…again for an undisclosed massive amount in cash.
Undoubtedly, the couple surely knows how to turn press coverage (good or bad) into cash. So why not leak a little fake divorce battle to the press, book a couple of tickets to a place in the sun…to different places and get statements relayed to the press via close (undisclosed) third party family friends? We can be sure that a ‘My Story’ in a highly advertise book release campaign will shortly follow suit… in a ‘two issue’ version of course. One of Jordan’s view and shortly after Peter Andre’s version. Not in the same time as this would disturb each others sales figures dramatically. Sell the same story twice, in a slightly amended version…and why not even by the same ghost writer in order to secure a better deal with a lower royalty percentage but for ‘both’ releases?
The media can be manipulated in all manners, for example through professional public relations (PR), and covert and overt third party propaganda which disseminates propaganda as news. What is often deemed as credible news sources can often knowingly or unknowingly be pushing advertising agendas for media releases such as books or music CD’s.
Media management and public relations are very professional nowadays and the impacts of public relations cannot be underestimated. In the commercial world, marketing and advertising are typically needed to make people aware of products and of course to boost a glamour model’s carrer.
Some techniques used by people with hidden agendas include:
•Paying journalists to promote certain issues without the journalist acknowledging this, or without the media mentioning the sources;
•Disinformation or partial information reported as news or fact without attributing sources that might be questionable
•PR firms feeding stories to the press without revealing the nature of the information with the intention of creating a public opinion
… Public relations firms often do their work behind the scenes. In various ways, perception management combines truth projection and deception.
So let’s closely follow how the story will unfold. Divorce or reunification? A book release will surely not be delayed for too long. PinUpReport.com might have been the first to predict!
