Page 3 girl Jamelah has got a new interest, model boxing. She shares this with her best buddies Leilani and Jakki.
Jamelah went to the US to fight in April 2005 and won her fight winning every round on points. Jamelah said ”That this was one of the best things ever experienced in her life, being in the ring was amazing, and winning was even better.”
Undefeated and coming back to London, Jamelah was even more passionate then ever before. She was determined to box again as soon as possible.

Knowing that there wouldn’t be many other opportunities for her and other models to be able to fight, she did something about it.
In June 2005, Jamelah she set up her own company ”CATFIGHT”. First, she recruited twelve of Londons top glamour models. Jakki, Vanessa, Kayleigh, Becky, Kaylee Marie, Jerri, charlotte, Sapphira, Hannah, Catkin and Tamara. Then she found an amazing boxing trainer to teach the glamour girls to train and box over a 5 month period and this was the beginning of a totally new sporting entertainment in the UK.
The first Catfight live event was held at the hippodrome in London’s Hippodrome at Leicster Square, seating 200 dinner guests and 500 standing and they were the first to witness Londons first ever model boxing event.
The night was filmed and due to appear as a 6 part series on bravo TV. Jamelah is now planning to take the UK glamour model Catfight series around the country and abroad, recruiting even more gorgeous girls.
The night was spectacular…The star studded crowed took a seat for a night of unprecedented boxing as the 12 contenders prepared for the fight of their lives. Charlotte Mears and Jeri Byrne emerged as the finalists.

padding about uncertainly in the tumbled sawdust of the big cage, the last lions, Jerri Byrne and Charlotte Mears responded to a cue from outside the bars, wheeled and sped toward the runway leading to the fighting cage. The claws were out. The crowd that packed London’s Hippodrome on the night was up in its seats, once the bell rang for the first round. The crowd was streaming toward the ring, past the array of other jabbering glamour model freaks in the lobby. The four round bout didn’t take long. Jerri started to land her powerful series of punches in round two which she continued throughout round three including a heavy series of body-blows. In round four, Jerri started and came out even more aggressive. And with only seconds to go, Jerri was close to her first knock out fight. Only the bell saved Charlotte to be counted out on the ring floor. A terrific bout.
And ducking into the corner with the last salvo of applause still drumming in everyone’s ears Jerri Byrne, the final winner of the night in a short and sexy t-shirt and breeches that had once been spotless white, shouldered through a clutter of glamour fans, PinUp girls and hangers-on, she was scurried off stage to her dressing-room. She was streaked and spattered from head to foot. Sweat trickled down her nose and cheeks, dripped from her chin. As she collapsed into a chair in her dressing room while an attendant pulled off the still hot cloves, her trainer honestly sighed: “It’s good to sit down!”
